 Celebrando su aniversario de más de tres décadas componiendo y cantando Soul, Rock, R&B, Funk...dentro y fuera de nuestras fronteras...

Reinando en la década de los 90 como uno de los pioneros del Soul en España con su banda The Cool Jerks con 12 álbumes en el mercado...

Después de haber compartido escenario con figuras del calibre de percy Sledge, Bonnie Tyler, Dr. John, Paul Carrack o Solomon Burke, entre muchos otros y haber conseguido el hito de grabr con los legendarios productores Willie Mitchell (Aretha Franklin, Rod Stewart) o Lawrence "Boo" Mitchell (Bruno Mars)...

Desde Londres su lugar de residencia habitual Miguel Angel Julián o lo que es lo mismo Soul Teller (Narrador de historias del Alma) se embarca en su gira con su gran banda de Rock & Soul, donde el feeling, la diversión y la interacción con el público están garantizadas.

Desde Memphis, Lawrence "Boo" Mitchell ha dicho sobre Soul Teller:

Working with some of the most legendary musicians and producers in Memphis Soul, Soul Teller is back once again with his brand-new single. 'I Think I'm Gonna Make It'. The making of this record dates all the way back to 2009, when the artist first moved to America from his home in Spain. 

The artist had struck it lucky when he met pioneer figure in Soul music Willie Mitchell, who agreed to produce this song for him back then. The pair worked together for a short while before the producer sadly passed away no more than a year later. Nevertheless, the singer was determined for his spirit to live on through the track, and asked his son Lawrence "Boo" Mitchell, another successful producer of Bruno Mars and many others, to help him finish the song. 

Boo was honoured to take on his father's unfinished project and recalls having a lot of fun recording this song down in Royal Studios, Memphis. This classic soul track is an uplifting song all about the power of love and featuring some of the most talented Soul performers in the scene, including iconic Stax rhythms guitarist Charles "Skip" Pitts and The Memphis Horns.

 One thing that struck Boo was the amount of Southern Soul within Soul Teller, a man hailing all the way from sunny Spain. 'I Think I'm Gonna Make It' marks a significant milestone for Soul Teller, who's sure to win over many with the track. Be sure to check it out for that quintessential Soul sound with a rising artist's spin.

Hola a todos, soy Miguel Angel Julián, Soul Teller  y me gustaría presentaros y compartir este pequeño video casero con todos vosotros.

Como sabréis hace unos cuantos años, me desplacé a Memphis (TN) para grabar con el legendario productor de Al Green en sus Royal Studios: el gran Willie Mitchell

Un poco más tarde volví a Memphis de nuevo para grabar mi segundo album norteamericano, en este caso con Boo Mitchell.

Mientras grababa fui invitado a ver a un fantástico músico llamado John Mayer que estaba tocando en directo en Memphis por aquel entonces y la sorpresa fue que después del show pudimos saludarle y también pudimos acceder en plena noche a los legendarios estudios STAX y su museo.

La segunda sorpresa, de la que no tenía ni idea, es que el gran músico y compositor David Porter nos esperaba, para darnos un exclusivo tour por el museo, cargado de detalles de sus momentos de trabajo y grabación allí. Yo estaba en el cielo, Otis Redding, Issac Hayes, Sam & Dave...

En este vídeo podrás ver momentos con grandes músicos como e
l batería Steve Jordan, Willie Mitchell, miembros de la banda de John Mayer, al teclista y productor Lester Snell, Lawrence Boo Mitchell e incluso al propio John Mayer y muchos muchos más.
